    To the Editor,

I just read your article on The Weird Sisters, and have never seen such shoddy journalism in my life. What is 'the worst of the damage' supposed to mean? It's vague, flowery, and uninformative. Are the band members stable? Will they make full recoveries? How badly were they injured? Are they expected to return to England, or continue on tour? These are the things your readers want to know.

A more informative response would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Who: Myron and Glinda
    What: Domesticity
    When: Backstory: Early February, 1991
Where: The living room of the Founding Flat
    Status: Complete

The problem with Muggle buildings, Glinda decided as she finally reached the landing for their floor, was that you couldn't Apparate anywhere near them, you couldn't Floo, and you couldn't just perch on a banister and use magic to slide up the railing. You had to climb the stairs.

Normally she didn't mind a little healthy exercise, and a brisk walk in the sunshine was always invigorating - it certainly beat doing proper aerobic workouts to terrible upbeat music with eight other women who were all wearing legwarmers and spandex - but not when she'd been on her feet all day, in these heels, and was carrying a bag full of manuscripts over her shoulder. There was also something more infinitely wearying about climbing the same set of stairs day after day that sucked the optimism right out of getting to the top.

She turned her key in the lock and nudged the door open. Myron was on the couch, and the most welcome sight she'd seen all day since she'd kissed him goodbye and left for work. She dropped her bag and her coat by the door after she'd shut it and headed straight for him, the feeling of coming home as always stronger by far than when she came back to the flat without him in it.

Glinda put one knee up on the armrest and tipped over on top of Myron, catching herself with her hands so that she didn't crush the wind out of him too badly. And then she completed the second part of the essential homecoming ritual, pressing a decidedly glad-to-be-home kiss to Myron's warm mouth. "Hi," she said once she was satisfied, content at having reasserted her girlfriendly rights to his person, and smiled down at him.
